Background
I have over 25 years of leadership experience in both non-profit and commercial organisations.
I have led teams through challenging projects including transformational change and re-structures. I am experienced in setting strategy, developing policy, increasing engagement, developing ways of working to support remote/ hybrid teams, and talent development across cross functional teams. I understand the current challenges that leaders face.
I have significant clinical negligence litigation experience, having worked across Manchester and Leeds in various claims management roles, including operational management and delivery, and understand the
I am an experienced litigator, working in both private practice and at a large medical indemnity provider where I undertook various management roles, including Technical and Quality Lead for the Claims Division which delivered technical input, quality review and continuous improvement. I progressed to Global Head of Governance across the Claims Division, and was a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
I understand the challenges of professional services, and the difficult balance between service delivery, quality and the pressure of time recording and billing income.
How I came to coaching
I am passionate about working with people, I have practical experience and understand the current challenges of leadership. There is a lot to balance; sustainable performance, the need for continued professional and personal development, whilst maintaining your personal wellbeing and work life balance.
Coaching and mentoring has been central to my career progression, I understand how transformational it is. My experience is central to my coaching practice and an enormous benefit to my clients. I love building relationships with my coaching clients and seeing their growth and development – it is a privilege to be part of the journey.
I have undertaken an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Accredited Coach Training Program (ACTP) which includes training in Positive Psychology, Transaction Analysis, DISC Profiling, and Neuroscience, aligned to ICF Standards. The ICF is the is the leading global organisation dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards.
I use a blended approach to coaching drawing on my corporate experience, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and ACTP Training and deliver coaching to ICF Standards and comply with the ICF Code of Ethics
